Hello! I´m Anna,
a German illustrator living with my family near Landsberg am Lech. I am passionate about children’s books and editorial illustration.
Colours, humour, emotions and unusual details are essential elements of my style. The beautiful Bavarian landscape, towns and villages inspire me a lot. I like drawing nature, animals and emotional characters. My digital illustrations mostly feel like they have been drawn with traditional materials.
Beside of illustrating books, magazines, stationary, websites or drawing for other projects I am passionate about our garden, traveling and playing the violin and the piano.
Oh I forgot mentioning photography and at least 50 new photos in my mobile phone every day. The models are our two daughters and every bug, flower or a window around that inspires me. I am walking through life with eyes wide open in search of inspirational ideas.

Illustratorin aus Deutschland. Ich lebe mit meiner Familie nahe Landsberg am Lech. Meine Leidenschaft ist Illustration für Kinderbücher und Zeitschriften.
Farben, Humor, Emotionen, witzige Details - das alles macht meinen Zeichenstil aus. Ich male sehr gerne Natur, Tiere und Figuren, die berühren. Ich arbeite hauptsächlich digital, strebe aber oft eine Ähnlichkeit mit analogen Maltechniken an.
Wenn ich nicht gerade für Bücher, Zeitschriften, Papeterie, Webseiten oder eins Ihrer Projekte illustriere, arbeite ich im Garten, erkunde andere Städte, spiele Klavier oder Geige.
Oh, ich habe ganz vergessen meine Leidenschaft für Fotografie und die täglichen mindestens 50 neuen Fotos auf dem Handy zu erwähnen! Die Models sind unsere beiden Töchter sowie jeder Käfer, jede Blume und jedes Fenster, die mich inspirieren. Also, meine Devise ist durch das Leben mit offenen Augen zu gehen.
